UK Global Talent · Endorsement Mentoring

Prepare for Global Talent endorsement — with a mentor who holds it.

The Global Talent visa begins with one decisive step: endorsement. Bimteck Consult mentors you through that stage — assessing your route, shaping your evidence, and refining your documents — so you apply with a clear, honest picture of your case.

Step one: know your route

Two routes, one goal

Global Talent endorsement is assessed by a different body depending on your field. We mentor clients on both of the routes below.

Academia & Research

For researchers and academics in science, engineering, humanities, social science and medicine. Endorsement is assessed by bodies such as:

  • The Royal Society (science & medicine)
  • The Royal Academy of Engineering
  • The British Academy (humanities & social science)
  • UKRI — endorsed funder route for eligible research posts

Routes include peer review, eligible fellowships, senior academic appointments, and the endorsed funder pathway.

Digital Technology

For founders, engineers, data scientists and product leaders in the digital technology sector. Assessment focuses on:

  • Recognition as a leader (or emerging leader) in tech
  • Technical or business contributions to the sector
  • Evidence such as products built, growth achieved, open-source impact, speaking and publications

A strong tech application depends on choosing the right criteria and matching each one with specific, verifiable evidence.

Exceptional Talent

For established leaders — you can already show significant recognition in your field over a sustained period.

Exceptional Promise

For emerging leaders — typically earlier in your career, with strong evidence that you're on a leadership trajectory.

What the endorsement stage involves

Four things decide your case

Endorsing bodies see hundreds of applications. Yours is judged on the strength and clarity of a small set of documents — which is exactly where mentoring makes the difference.

Your CV

Structured for the endorsing body — highlighting the achievements that map onto the criteria, not just your job history.

Personal statement

Your own account of your contribution to the field and your plans in the UK — clear, specific and evidence-led.

Recommendation letters

Letters from senior, credible figures who know your work — chosen and briefed well, where applicable to your route.

Supporting evidence

A limited number of documents proving your claims. Selecting the strongest items — and cutting the weak ones — is half the battle.

Your application stays yours. You are responsible for preparing the initial drafts of your documents using your genuine achievements, experience and supporting evidence. Our role is to guide you through the process, review your drafts, identify areas for improvement, and refine wording, structure and presentation so your documents are clear and appropriately aligned with the endorsement criteria. We do not write documents from scratch or create unsupported content.
Common questions

Frequently asked questions

Do you guarantee endorsement?
No — and you should be cautious of anyone who does. Endorsement decisions rest entirely with the endorsing bodies. What we offer is an honest assessment of your chances and disciplined preparation that presents your genuine achievements at their strongest.
Will you write my personal statement or letters for me?
No. You prepare the initial drafts from your own achievements and evidence; we review and refine them with you. This keeps your application genuine — which is both an integrity requirement and, in practice, what endorsing bodies respond to.
Do you help with the visa application after endorsement?
Our support covers the endorsement stage only. We don't handle the subsequent visa application, provide legal representation, or submit anything on your behalf. For regulated immigration advice, consult an OISC-registered adviser or solicitor, and always verify current requirements on GOV.UK.
How do I know if I should apply as Talent or Promise?
That's one of the main questions the Strategy Consultation answers. Broadly, Exceptional Talent suits established leaders with sustained recognition, while Exceptional Promise suits earlier-career applicants on a clear leadership trajectory. We assess your profile against the published criteria and tell you honestly where you stand.
What if you assess my profile and it isn't ready?
We tell you so — before you spend more. The consultation summary will set out what's missing and what to build (publications, recognition, evidence of impact) so you can return stronger. The Comprehensive Mentoring Package is only offered to clients who qualify.
How do I pay?
